How is my compensation calculated?
Your compensation is governed by the instructor compensation terms shown on this page. In short, you are paid for the teaching you deliver — recorded pathway content, live sessions and assessment support — and each piece of teaching is logged so your total builds up as work is completed and accepted.
When do I get paid?
Completed teaching accrues to your compensation ledger. Accrued amounts are collected into payout runs, which are reviewed and settled by the academy. Each payout records its own reference so the history of what was paid, and when, always stays visible on your instructor dashboard.
How does the approval process work?
Submit the application form and a person reads it. If approved, we grant your instructor role and email you — your instructor dashboard opens at /instructor. To teach a specific live class you claim it, and an admin confirms the claim before it is yours.
What can I teach?
Teaching eligibility follows your professional credentials. Each pathway lists the credentials eligible to teach it, so you can see at a glance where you qualify — for example an Enrolled Agent, CPA, attorney or CAA credential may each unlock different pathways.
Do I set my own schedule?
Yes. You set your availability and schedule the live sessions you run, and we match you to the cohorts and classes that need you. Cancelled or rescheduled sessions are tracked so your compensation always reflects sessions that actually happened.

Instructors deliver pathway modules, record teaching content for the academy library, run live sessions, and guide students through practical assessments. You choose the work you take on — we never assign you teaching without your confirmation.
